On her way to euphoria

It was held at Cabanas grand pavilion (here in Bulacan for those who din’t know) As mentioned, it was a retro/vintage-themed party. Knowing Cristine, love na love nya talaga ang vintage. Have I told you she loves using her grand mother’s clothes? Charot lang! Sobrang fab kaya ni Cristine, I love the way she dress up! Looks really sophisticated dahil vintage ang peg. Don’t you just love the way women dress up in the 80s era? Way better than the sagging fashion we have today.

We were late apparently because we went to the mall first to buy our gifts and to buy my dress. Kaya naman super madaliang pagpprepare ang naganap! We got home from the mall few minutes after 6, we don’t wanna be late kasi shempre love na love na love na love namin si Cristine but we had no choice.. hehe kesa naman pumunta kami don ng super loshang diba? Eksena kaming scavengers don along with the debutant na pasabog ang beauty at ang grand entrance!

I must say her party was the most unique debut I’ve been to, so far! Imagine this, instead of the traditional waltz for 18 roses, they danced back in the 80s music! Hip hop, r&b, dancehall and rock. Say hi to her father and brother!

And to Edwin who’s dancing to…….. Gangnam style? Wait what?

I’m a part of the 18 wishes. Again, they put a little twist into it. Instead of just standing in front and delivering your message, you have to eat a piece of polvoron, sit face to face with the debutant then say your message. It was fun, hearing people speak like an alien and not understanding a single word they utter. I just hope Cristine was able to understand everything!

I hate being part of the 18 18 thing na yan, in other words, I hate being part of the program esp when you’re asked to express yourself/tell your message. Nakakamental block kasi, may stage fright pa man din ako even if di na sya school-related.

Even in 18 treasures! Pero this time di na polvoron kundi…… Yakee!!!! Yay that was easier and yummier! Lol

The emcee was Sir Lemuel, our class’ sub adviser way back in second year high school! Good to see him again! (pero I didn’t approach him that night, nahiya ako!) Sorry sir Lem can’t find a “decent” picture of yours, candid talaga lahat eh!

Kids are just so makulit and pasaway, di marunong makisama sa mga sayawan. Ayun tuloy si Cristine lang yung sumayaw that time. *awkward moment* Love it when Cristine dances, laging wrong timing. Lam mo yan girl, aminin mo!! You guys can watch our “Imma be” vid if here if you want a clear evidence. Look for the girl who still dances after everyone else has stopped lol

Another dance number but with her college buddies naman this time! Candyman plus the super kaduper mainstream Gangnam PS: They look so cute with their tutu skirts!

I won “best dressed” that night!

And received this super cute shoe-like ‘I don’t know what you call it’ piece as an award. Thank you for choosing me, Cristine’s stylist!:)

I actually don’t know why they’re laughing.. siguro nadaan ako. Charot anyway meet my high school best friends (for the nth time) muna! (L-R Me, Liezl, Kat and Megan) Megan who just turned seventeen yesterday, happy birthday Megan!! Oh my God reminds me of my blog post dedicated to her last year. Time goes by way too fast! I didn’t know I’ve been blogging for more than a year already!

After party! There were no alcoholic drinks served that night, which is good.. for everyone’s sake. The dance floor were occupied mostly by the “oldies”, dancing shempre! (Siguro namiss nila magdisco) lol love the “disco” term, soooo vintage! Haha it was also good to see some high school friends! Hi Edwin, miss ko na abs mo.

Behind every beautiful girl is another beautiful girl, literally. Lol joke lang. (Teka why does it seem like I have a really huge butt in that picture? Anong ngyare it’s so freaky ang sagwa)

Went home at around 12, aga no? Kat and Liezl slept over my house unexpectedly. Watched American reunion, slept at almost 4. I even managed to watch and stay up late with them instead of studying for my midterm exam in the morning. Yes I’ve class on Saturdays, sucks I know.

Anyway, belated happy 18th birthday again Cristine! I had so much fun on your party. Wait have I already told you that you looked really fab and bonggels that night? Dyosa levels (as usual), laveeeeet! Ayun thank you for being such a great friend (walang echos), thank you kasi you’re always there when I need someone to talk to. I love how you still make kwento (okay that was a conyo line) even if we don’t get to see each other often anymore. Sobrang lucky ako sayo! You don’t always get to meet someone who’s willing to listen to your folly rants, plus nagbibigay pa ng advice! I’ll be always there for you, Cristine, no matter what.Hay Cristine, you’ll always be the one who gives me the best advice talaga (along with Kat, yay!) at dahil dyan.. *drumrolls*

Charot! Isa sya sa pinaka mabubuti at pinaka vvain (vvain? lol) na kaibigang meron ako. I’ll be always there for you, Cristine, no matter what. We don’t hang out as much as we used to but I’ll always consider you as one of my best friends. I have actually a lot of great friends, but best friends?

I have 3.. sometimes 4 hahaha occasionally lang yung isa?

You know after a while you find out who your best friends are. The rest are just people you know.. or you’re close with
